“It is only in love, the love which
desires and seeks the good of others, that we truly experience the
meaning of life and find happiness in living it, even amid
difficulties, trials and disappointments, even when it means swimming
against the tide.”
—Pope Benedict XVI

Speeches by Pope Benedict during
US visit:

What is School of Community?
This
is similar to a reading group. Everyone in CL reads a few pages from a
recommended text (much like the readings at Mass) and get's together
and discusses this text. The text is often a book written by Fr.
Giussani or an article or letter by the Pope. One particular aspect of
school of community is searching for a correspondance between the text,
our experience and the presence of Christ. It is not intended to be an
abstract intellectual or literary endeavor.
What is your relationship to
liberation theology?
None
whatsoever.
What is your political
affiliation?
Everyone
has their own.
How do I become a Member?
There
is no membership, no dues, no membership card, no address
lists, only free participation.
